Dear Guardians,

Hello, this is Ki-Ryong Nam, Director of Genesis War.

It's hard to believe three months have already passed since our global launch. We sincerely thank all the Guardians who have journeyed with us across the continent of Antaria during this time. Our development team reviews every piece of feedback you share with us through the community and official channels.

Today, we'd like to share our Q3 2026 update roadmap. We believe that knowing in advance what content is coming and in what order will help you to best train your heroes.

The Main Story will continue steadily on its regular update schedule, just as before. As we move into the latter half of "The War of Genesis II," the story enters a stretch with even greater emotional weight, so we hope those of you who enjoy the story will look forward to it.

[Tempest Content Launch]

With August just around the corner, a new content mode called "Tempest" will be launching.

Tempest is a side story within "The War of Genesis" series, and we've prepared it in Genesis War as a spin-off mode separate from the Main Story. It's a training simulation featuring the characters of Tempest, including Elizabeth Pandragon, Marie Pandragon, and Cordelia Austin.

You'll grow your characters by choosing how to allocate training, rest, and battle over a set period, and the choices you make along the way will affect Favor levels and endings. Each character also has a rich personal story, letting you see sides of them you wouldn't see on the battlefield.

Since this mode has a very different feel from SRPG combat, it may seem a little unfamiliar at first. But unlike the Main Story, which carries a somewhat heavier tone, this is content you can enjoy casually, giving you something to approach in a more lighthearted way.

Additionally, a pickup featuring the full lineup of Tempest characters will run alongside the Tempest update, so please look forward to it.

[Real Time Match (PvP)]

That same August, we'll also be launching a 1-on-1 real-time battle mode called "Real Time Match."

This is a mode where you can arrange a match with a friend or a fellow Guild member and compete directly. Where Guild War is decided by pre-arranged decks, Real Time Match requires you to read your opponent's moves in real time and react on the spot. Even with the same team composition, every battle plays out completely differently, and we believe this comes closest to capturing the true fun of SRPGs.

On the Korean server, top-ranked players have been using this mode as a space to test new team compositions and strategies. We hope it becomes a place where Guardians who enjoy strategic play can test their skills against one another.

[Kosmos Saga]

In Q3, Genesis War's original story, "Kosmos Saga Season 1," will officially begin.

Kosmos is another world that exists beyond, one which is observing and recording Antaria and many other worlds. There, beings called SIZS detect and correct any "deviation" that strays from the flow of the worlds. Those who slip beyond this observation and record are called "Outer Ones."

Characters whose stories had already reached their end in the original will meet again, in an entirely different time and place. Why they are there, and what they seek to reclaim, is the story that Kosmos Saga tells.

But the Kosmos Saga isn't simply supplementary content. It's a story meant to establish itself as the core narrative of Genesis War. Rather than simply recreating the emotional impact of the original, we want to go a step further and use Kosmos Saga to unfold a new "War of Genesis" story that belongs to Genesis War alone. We'll make sure it feels both familiar and unfamiliar to those who know the original, while standing on its own as an engaging story for those experiencing it for the first time.

[World Boss "Error Code: Diene"]

Alongside Kosmos Saga, an "Error Code," representing a deviation that has occurred in the world, will be observed. The first such case involves Diene, one of Antaria's Twelve Prime Gods and the deity who presides over justice.

The World Boss raid "Error Code: Diene" is content in which each Guardian builds up their own performance record against a powerful boss. It runs on a seasonal basis, and rewards are granted based on the record accumulated each season.

The thing we paid the most attention to while developing this content was making sure there's a place for the heroes you've trained. Rather than relying on a handful of especially strong heroes, we designed it so you can make broad use of a variety of heroes across different elements and types. We've made an effort to give heroes who previously had no clear role in your lineup an opportunity to shine, so we encourage you to test out the full range of heroes you've trained.

[Popular Rerun Pickups and Special Events]

In August, we've prepared rerun pickups for popular characters who've been beloved by Guardians all along. During the same period, we'll also run events to help you grow rerun characters more quickly. From August through September, a series of special events with boosted rewards compared to usual will follow one after another. We're also preparing some attractive rewards that many of you tend to favor, so please keep an eye on the schedule.

In September, a single character who holds an important place in the world of "The War of Genesis" will make a new appearance. Timed with this character's update, a selective pickup covering the entire faction that character belongs to will also open, so please look forward to it.

[New Outer One, "Heidellune"]

Sometime during Q4, a new Outer One, "Heidellune," will arrive.

Heidellune is a character who left a powerful impression in the original title, "The War of Genesis III: Part 2." Though introduced as a formidable enemy, they're also a character left with things they couldn't protect and choices they couldn't take back.

Having set foot in Kosmos, Heidellune moves to set right a past they once failed to prevent. But standing in their way is a Senior SIZS bearing the duty of upholding the order of the worlds, along with a face they would never have wished to face again.

Whether Heidellune can break free of a past tragedy, or whether they're bound to arrive at the same ending once again—you'll find that story in Kosmos Saga. Ahead of Heidellune's arrival, an episode offering a clue to this story will also be revealed through Inner World.

[Other News]

Alongside Heidellune's arrival, we're also preparing a rerun for Black Prince, which many Guardians have been waiting for. If you missed your chance during the previous pickup period, please keep this timing in mind.

Higher tiers of Simulation Training, an expansion to Tomb of Hero, and a variety of events will also follow in turn. We'll share the detailed schedule and content through notices and future Developer's Notes.

[In Closing]

As Q3 draws to a close, we'll be reaching our 6-month anniversary. We're preparing large-scale events and rewards to mark the occasion, so please look forward to it.

This Q3 is a quarter where story plays an especially large role. That's precisely why we continue to put significant effort into refining translation quality. We believe that in a story where a character's emotions matter as much as they do in Kosmos Saga, even a single sentence can make a real difference, so we'll keep working to improve things so that Guardians can become fully immersed in the story.

The reason we're sharing this roadmap in advance is because we want Guardians to be able to picture the journey ahead. We hope you'll take the time to fully enjoy the story, the battles, and your growth, each at your own pace.
